SAAD EVALUATION PROGRAMME

Clinical Audit of Conscious Sedation Techniques in Dentistry by Peer Review

The SAAD evaluation programme is designed to allow practitioners to satisfy themselves that the environment in which conscious sedation is being provided is adequate, the staff and dentists have proper training and experience, correct protocols are followed and that high quality conscious sedation services are assured. In all the programme gives you and your team, wherever you practice, the confidence that your standards are contemporary.

The programme is can be adapted for general practice community PDS and hospital services. It is valuable as an independent external review mechanism. The scheme has been used widely throughout the UK and is gaining popularity with Health Authorities wishing to demonstrate appropriate standards.
